On Sunday, Sept 6, 2026, a new season of Brazilian Zouk classes starts at Watapana Dance Company, in the heart of Arnhem, led by Lorenzo Tjon, with support from Jolanda.

Zouk Improvers 3
In this class you will learn more basic figures and techniques such as turns, body rolls, styling and rhythm changes. As this class builds on the techniques taught in the beginners and fundamentals classes (see elements per class on my website lorenzotjon.nl/bootcamps-list), it is important that you master the basics either through beginners/fundamentals classes at Flowaka or another dance school. If you are doubting about your level feel free to contact me and we can see which level suits you best!
Practice
After every class we will have 15 minutes to practice the material discussed in class. Every last session of the season we will have a longer social, with possibly more to come in the future! Social dancing and attending parties is essential for both followers and leaders to practice what you have learned in class. In our WhatsApp group all Brazilian Zouk events will be shared and students can arrange to travel together. So join the group and let's explore social dancing together!
Zouk Intermediate 3
In this class we explore variations on basic moves and advanced techniques. We'll play with hair movements, isolations, undulations, rhythms, and musicality. In this class all the fundamental movements of Zouk are combined, therefore mastering your basics and individual techniques is key.
Zouk Pre-Advanced
In this class we explore variations on basic moves and advanced techniques. We'll start playing with advanced hair movements, isolations, undulations, rhythms, and musicality. In this class all the Improvers 1, 2, and 3 movements of Zouk are combined; therefore mastering your basics and individual techniques is key.
Missed a class? The 15 min extra practice after each class also serves to compensate for missing up to 2.5 to 5 hours of classes. If you already know you will miss more, you can also pay for single classes instead (this is more expensive but gives more flexibility).
Alternating partners is essential for both followers and leads. In our WhatsApp group, we share all events and often arrange travel together. So, join the group and let's organize together! 🧡
